Fun fact - I spent the first four years of my life in Southern California and lots of time at the beach, but I HATED the sand. As you can imagine this made beach visits complicated for my mom. She would have to carefully put down a beach towel and get a pail of water so I could rinse any sand off. I would then sit on the very edge of the towel and build sand castles. I guess my tendency towards being a little high maintenance started early. 😂 Are you more of a beach or pool kind of person? I’m more of a pool kind of gal, but I do love to look at the ocean. I’ve been working on a new collection and last week I hit a wall. I started questioning all the colors...my main print...basically I spiraled from this is my FAVORITE collection ever to this is the WORST collection ever. I first tried just pushing through, and kept feeling worse and worse so...I stepped away from the computer for a bit. I tried sketching but again I couldn’t seem to quiet my inner critic. 🧵 Finally I decided to do something completely different. I love embroidery and have been spending some time listening to audiobooks and embroidering. It’s the first time ever that I’ve come up with my own designs.
